Welcome to my blog!

Just take a few minutes to sit back, relax and think about what the words confectionery, sweets and chocolate mean to you. It might be a certain sweet you used to love as a child evoking great memories of long hot summer holidays or swapping sweets in the playground.

Or it could be a long lost memory of a cake or dessert you once had at a certain restaurant that you just couldn't get over because the flavour, smell and look of it just made your jaw drop and your tastebuds tingle.

What I hope to do here is share with you my own memories, thoughts, ideas and reviews of all things sweet (as well as a few other topical subjects that might slip in there!). It might be a bit self indulgent but isn't that one of the purposes of confectionery - to indulge yourself!

I'm also looking to set up making sweet things for people to enjoy so if you are interested please follow me in that dream.

Indulge yourself but most of all enjoy yourself!
